All You Need To Know About The Double Knockout Rose

DOuble knockout roses have one of the longest rose bloom times, displaying their fragrant blooms from early spring until the first frost.

these roses host large, thick, colorful blooms.

Double Knockout Roses are extremely cold hardy and heat resistant. They’re, also, extremely disease and pest resistant (blackspot, mildew, rust) but are not deer tolerant.

Double Knock Out Roses prefer moist soil but not soil that has water puddling. If your soil beings feeling dry, water (typically 1-2 times per weekly). Roses in containers will dry out faster than ground soil, so they will require water more frequently. (Ensure that if your roses are potted, that the pots have drainage holes to prevent root rot.)

Mulch around the base of your Double Knockout Roses to provide nutrients to your roses and help their soil retain moisture longer. Double Knock Out Roses will thrive with a balanced fertilizer, like formula 10-10-10. We recommend fertilizing around Valentine’s Day each year.
