Originally from Muncie, IN, Rob earned his degree in Business Management from Ball State University before moving to the South Carolina Lowcountry in 2002. That same year, he and his wife, Jessie, founded Coastal Shores Landscape (formerly R.S. Service), driven by a shared vision to shape their community through premium service.

Before launching Coastal Shores, Rob owned and operated several coin laundromats — an experience that deepened his passion for business, leadership, and service. Today, he remains focused on creating meaningful impact within the company and throughout the community.

Rob and Jessie have been married for 28 years (1997), and they have three children and three grandchildren (with one more on the way)! His favorite plant is the native Sabal Palmetto.

A native of Indiana, Jessie moved to the Lowcountry with her husband, Rob, in 2002 to start what would become Coastal Shores Landscape. With a background in business and a heart for people, Jessie has played a vital role in building the company’s culture — one rooted in generosity, care, and community.

Jessie’s passion extends beyond the business. She’s actively involved in local organizations and outreach efforts throughout Bluffton, reflecting her belief that true success comes from serving others and giving back.

Together with Rob, Jessie has built both a thriving business and a strong family foundation. Married for over 28 years, she takes pride in watching their three children grow while continuing to invest in the community they love.
