Why should I aerate and top dress my landscaping?

Aeration is the process of puncturing the soil of your lawn. This process, combined with top dressing, will improve the thickness and growth of your lawn.

Top dressing is the process of spreading a thin layer of organic material over your turf. The layer of soil over turfgrass is meant to amend the quality of soil while letting the existing grass grow through it.
